Apacer Compact Flash card is a high performance, non-removable flash memory data storage system. This product is well suited for solid-state mass storage portable applications offering new and expanded functionality while enabling smaller and lighter designs.
Apacer Compact Flash technology is widely used in a variety of consumer products such as portable computers, digital cameras, handheld data collection scanners, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), handy terminals, audio players, monitoring devices and set-top boxes.
Apacer Compact Flash card provides complete PCMCIA - ATA functionality and compatibility. This is achieved because the 50-pin CF card can be easily slipped into a passive 68-pin Type II adapter card that fully meets PCMCIA electrical and mechanical interface specifications.
The Apacer Compact Flash card is read and written to using a single power supply of 5.0-Volts or 3.3-Volts and is available in 32MB to 8GB densities.
*The actual available memory on the device is less than what is listed on the package. This is due to small discrepancies in file formats and algorithms used by various operating systems. The capacity of Flash memory is shown in "Megabyte" (1MB =1000KB). In Windows environment or DOS mode, 1MB =1024 KB; therefore 1GB is approximately 953MB.
